Dr. ZEMMOURI OUSALA
Dr. ZEMMOURI OUSALA is a devoted nephrologist with a deep-seated passion for exploring the combination of medicine, history, and culture. Born and raised in Algeria, he earned his medical degree from the University of Algiers, School of Medicine. After immigrating to the United States, Dr. ZEMMOURI OUSALA established his career at OhioHealth Hospital while continuing his academic pursuits at Ohio University.
Inspired by the stark differences between the rich history of Islamic civilization and the prevailing narratives about Islam in the West, he authored this book to highlight the significant contributions of Muslim scholars during the Golden Age of Islam. Dr. ZEMMOURI OUSALA seeks to challenge stereotypes and foster a better understanding of Islam’s impact on modern society through his work. He intends to inspire Muslims and non-Muslims to appreciate the profound legacy of knowledge and innovation that has formed our world today.
